excellent location and view from room. just in front of wat senesouk and monks collect alms in front of the hotel.
Do not book anything off the reception because they charge expensive rates and offer extremely poor service. Ordered a car instead of a tuktuk to drop me off at the airport since I had lots of luggages. I ordered it one day before at the agreed price of 9 dollars, double checked in the evening and in the morning. Staff say yes yes booked no problem only to find out they never booked a car and only spoke to the tuktuk driver in front of the hotel and tried to charge me 7dollars for a tuktuk ! I obviously was furious, had to bargain with the tuktuk driver just opposite the road to take me for 4 dollars as there was no time to wait for a cab. I almost missed my flight because of the hotel's staff lack of responsibility and professionality.

The rooms were clean and secure, if a little cramped. Friendly and efficient staff. Great location for seeing the morning alms, though a little far from the morning market.

Coffee was good and free.
Bad smell in bathroom.Dusty small bedroom. No storage areas in room.Need to pay extra to get front room or in the new block at the back.We could not move room as fully booked. If we had known when we booked three months ago,we would have paid more.Only hotel we have had to remove shoes to enter.

The hotel is right opposite a temple and is a great place to watch the monks collecting alms, right outside the door.
Really not good value for money. The standard room is $30 a night, and for that the room was quite tatty. Maybe shop around a little before booking.

Excellent peaceful location in the loveliest part of Luang Prabang - on a quiet street with beautiful Buddhist temples and within walking distance of all the sights .
Room TV mounted high on wall ...a stiff neck could result ! Otherwise very good !

The location was excellent, right across from a temple so that you could see the monks in the morning receiving alms. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was gorgeous.
No breakfast available at this hotel.

The location is brilliant and the staff were helpful. It's close to most restaurants and in the morning you can see the monks passing by in front of the temple.
If you're on a budget, you can find other hotels which are cheaper and offer more or less the same surroundings.

Bed was not bad, it's big and comfortable. Bath room is quite big too, with nice hot shower.
I found this hotel on Booked.net. I chose this hotel cus the comments were actually not bad. However, it turns out that I deeply regret that I had chosen this hotel. On the website they said it's a Deluxe Double Room(Garden view) with a balcony. When I and my bf finally found this place(the Location was not as good as I thought too!), I was totally shocked and disappointed...It's completely different as what I thought. And it's totally over-priced. Within 54 dollar per night you can actually easily find a cozy room along the Mekong River. What's more ridiculous is that the price is even not including breakfast! It's a total rip-off!!! Ok, forget about the price, let's talk about the room. When we entered, it's totally dark, with a little window that can see some house corner outside with some threes(Don't misunderstand, it's not a open view). Actually the view is some wall of the oppsite house, then we both realized that this is the legendary Garden view room. The whole hotel is like a big guest house with a living room and small garden. Bed was not bad, it's big and comfortable. Bath room is quite big too, with nice shower. When we ask the reception guy to cancel the 2nd night, he was not so friendly. They spoke broken English and tried to charge us extra for cancelation fee. I have struggled with them about 30 minutes then finally they allowed us to stay one night only. Actually, I already wanted to cancel both nights when we just arrived. But they didn't allow us to do so. Therefore, we stayed one night with unpleasant feelings. The next morning around 6, we checked out... (Found a great hotel along the Mekong river with valuable price.)
